Obamas snubbed for Royal Wedding?

| 18.02.2011

The Obamas are expected to be snubbed for the Royal Wedding according to Ladbrokes.

Following news that President Obama and Michelle are set to visit the UK in May the bookies are now taking bets on them appearing at the wedding and it’s currently odds-on (2/5) neither of them are at the ceremony.

It’s 6/1 that Michelle attends alone and a less likely 12/1 that Barack is the only Obama present. Plans are always subject to change however and that’s reflected in the 2/1 quote that they do both attend the wedding as official guests.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said:”The announcement of a visit to the UK after the Wedding is the biggest indicator yet that the Whitehouse pair may have been left off the guest list.”

Ladbrokes latest betting

Only Michelle Obama to attend the Royal Wedding – 6/1
Only Barack Obama to attend the Royal Wedding – 12/1
Both Barack and Michelle Obama to attend the Royal Wedding – 2/1
Neither to attend the Royal Wedding – 2/5
