Katona the odds-on bet at 4/6 for Dancing On Ice exit

Kerry Katona is the heavy favourite at 4/6 in the Dancing On Ice betting to be the ninth celebrity eliminated from the show.

Katona marginally avoided elimination last week after being saved from the skate off that saw Dave Vitty knocked off the show, but she is not expected to be so lucky two weeks in succession.

However, one thing in Katona’s favour is that her partner is likeable professional skater Dan Whiston, who won the show last year with Hayley Tamaddon, and voters may decide to keep him in the competition.

This week’s show will see the celebrities completing the ‘Ultimate Skills’ test and Katona has readily admitted that her talent on the ice is inferior to that of many of the fellow acts still remaining in the show.

Among the skills that the celebrities will have to involve in their routines will be a jump, a step and a spin, with the judging panel offering scores on how well these challenges were performed.

Vanilla Ice is 5/1 in the Dancing On Ice odds to be the next elimination, but may be saved because of his decision to incorporate his own 1990 hit ‘Ice Ice Baby’ into his routine.

According to an ITV spokesperson, Vanilla Ice said: “Vanilla is very happy he has been given his classic track for such an important weekend on the show.”

Denise Welch is another celebrity among the leading candidates to be the next act voted off Dancing On Ice and can be backed at 11/4 and it is widely believed to be a three-horse race between these contestants.

Based on average scores, Welch has the lowest of the contestants still remaining in the show.

Johnson Beharry is next best at 14/1, while Jeff Brazier is 16/1 to be the ninth act eliminated, despite finding himself in the bottom two earlier in the competition.

A £25 stake on Vanilla Ice being voted off Dancing On Ice would return £125. New customers can sign up here for a free £25 bet.
