Hernandez can fire Man Utd to Premier League title

Javier Hernandez has revealed that he is ready to carry on scoring the goals to help Manchester United win the Premier League title this season.

Hernandez is currently enjoying a great first campaign in English football, with his double in the 4-0 win at Wigan taking his tally to 12 in all competitions.

This victory resulted in Manchester United being cut to 4/9 in the Premier League betting to win the title as they have regained their four-point advantage over Arsenal at the top of the table

The win also boosts Manchester United’s suspect away form this season, as it represented just their fourth victory on the road in their last 13 top-flight games.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s team are away again next as they head to Stamford Bridge, with a Manchester United victory ending any faint hopes still held by Chelsea that they are still outside contenders in the Premier League title race.

And perhaps the one big decision facing Ferguson is whether to allow Hernandez to keep his starting place.

Hernandez is yet to start two Premier League games in succession this season as he has had to play second fiddle to Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov, but has a remarkable scoring record when selected from the start.

The Mexican has nine goals in eight Premier League starts, but it is largely expected that he will once again return to the bench against Chelsea.

Manchester United’s betting odds are 2/1 beat Chelsea and Hernandez has highlighted that he will give his all regardless of the role he has to play in the fixture.

He said: “Will I play? That is a question you need to ask the boss. The manager makes the decisions he has to make.

“I am ready if he needs me. Whether it is for one minute or 90, I just want to do my best. I just want to work hard and do well when I get on.”

A £25 stake on Hernandez scoring first against Chelsea would return £175. New customers can sign up here for a free £25 bet.
