Four back from injury to help West Brom beat West Ham

West Ham’s hopes of securing a vital three points at West Brom this weekend have suffered a blow as the hosts are set to be able to count on four of their regular first-teamers to return from injury.

West Brom are 1/1 in the Premier League betting odds to beat West Ham and temporary boss Michael Appleton has been handed a massive boost on the injury front.

Chris Brunt, who tops the charts for West Brom in terms of assists this season, and Graham Dorrans are both winning their fitness battles to be in contention for a midfield berth, while Marek Cech could start in defence.

The other injury concern is that of goalkeeper Boaz Myhill, who suffered a dead leg against Manchester City, but should return to start ahead of Scott Carson.

If the foursome would have been ruled out, West Ham may have been worth a punt at 11/4, particularly as they won their last Premier League away game at another of their fellow relegation contenders Blackpool.

Meanwhile, they have also only been defeated in one of their last eight away games with West Brom, which was at the Hawthorns last season when they lost 3-2.

However, with Appleton likely to have close to a full squad to call upon and the players likely to be up for the first fixture under his tenure as manager, West Brom should be able to overcome their recent horrid stretch of form.

West Brom have won just one of their last nine Premier League games, but their form at home has not been horrendous.

Of their last 12 home league games, West Brom have won five and lost just four.
