Tories now 100/1 for Oldham & Saddleworth

The bookies now quote them all as 100/1 chances to win with the Conservatives huge drifters in the market having opened up at 7/2.
A Labour victor appears a formality at 1/16 with the bookies on the verge of a substantial payout with several large bets registered in the run up to the by-election even at seemingly prohibitive odds.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The Conservatives have drifted alarmingly and as we near the polling date they could go off longer odds than so-called minority parties.”
