Swansea v Crystal Palace – bet on the Welsh side to easily win at 4/7

It’s been a pretty mixed few days for Brendan Rogers and his Swansea City side.

They were finally able to bolster their attacking options after securing a loan deal for West Bromwich Albion striker Luke Moore, but then had captain Gary Monk ruled out for three months with medial ligament damage.

However, the Swans – who currently lie fourth in the Championship – are big favourites in the betting at 4/7 and should comfortably come out on top against a struggling Palace side.

New boss Dougie Freedman has won his one Championship game in charge since the sacking of George Burley following their 3-0 defeat to Millwall on New Year’s Day. However, that game was against bottom of the table Preston North End and since then they have lost 2-1 against Coventry in the FA Cup.

Despite losing their last Championship game 2-1 away to Leicester City, Rogers’ side have been in good form over recent weeks and showed their ruthless side with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Colchester in the FA Cup last weekend.

The last time these sides met, Swansea had one of their easier away days of the season, coming away from Selhurst Park as 3-0 victors.

It should be just as comfortable this time for the Swans and – with the addition of Moore to the squad – there could be a few goals in it. Backing a repeat of the 3-0 win at 10/1 could certainly be worth a free £25 bet.
