Super Bowl XLV Odds

The New York jets produced a brilliant performance in their divisional play-off game with New England Patriots to book their place in the next stage of Super Bowl XLV.

The Jets were outsiders in the Super Bowl betting heading into their clash, but came through in convincing fashion, winning 28-21.

Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady had a rare lapse in form and threw his first interception in over 300 attempts. His repeated blitzing by the Jets defence was a major factor in their victory, but they now face a tough task against 2009 champions, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers battled to a 31-24 victory against archrivals the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday thanks, in no small part, to Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger who threw a 58-yard pass to Antonio Brown on the Ravens four-yard line to set up the victory.

The Steelers are big favourites in the Super Bowl betting to come out on top against The Jets and the Pittsburgh side can be backed at 4/5 to make it to the final in Texas.

The other play-off sees the Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago Bears. The sides have already played each other twice during the regular season, with one victory apiece.

The Packers are favourites in the Ladbrokes Super Bowl betting at 4/5. However, the Bears can be confident heading into the game after the brilliant performance of quarterback, Jay Cutler in their play-off victory over the Seahawks.

He threw two touchdowns and ran over two of his own in that game and if he can reproduce that form, backing the Bears at 21/20 in the Super Bowl betting could certainly be worth a bet.

A £25 stake on the Bears to win the Super Bowl would return £150. New customers can sign up here for a free £25 bet.
