Shrews face tough trip as title odds continue to slide

Published:

A run of one win in nine games has season Shrewsbury Town fall out of the League Two title race and the Shrews need a win against Accrington Stanley if they are to challenge for an automatic spot.

Accrington Stanley are in a strong run of form having won three of their last four, drawing the other with league leaders Chesterfield, and Stanley are 7/5 to beat Shrewsbury on Tuesday night.

In a game which offers plenty of value, Shrewsbury are 9/5 to beat Accrington and have won three of the last six at Accrington’s Crown Ground, but while Shrewsbury have found goals hard to come by recently – they should be expected on Tuesday night.

In eight games between the two at the Crown Ground there have been 25 goals and over 2.5 goals is priced at a very tempting 21/20.

Confidence is hard to come by in the Shrews squad at the moment, but form can change in an instant and Shrewsbury can record a valuable away victory tonight.

Aldershot Town vs Bradford City

The last four matches between these two have all been won by the home side and that sets up Aldershot nicely at 13/10 to beat Bradford.

However, with just nine points from 10 home league games, Aldershot have the worst home record in League Two and Bradford’s first win at Aldershot since 1982 is priced at 2/1.

Bradford have been appalling in League Two since their demise from League One, and Aldershot’s poor home form suggests there is only one outcome and the draw can be backed at 12/5.

14 goals in four games between the two suggests that it could be an exciting night in League Two and over 2.5 goals is priced at 1/1.

A £25 double on Shrewsbury and a draw would return £244.25. New customers can sign up here for a free £25 bet.
