Redknapp favourite to take over from sacked Andy Gray
Published:Jamie Redknapp is the 5/2 favourite with Ladbrokes to replace Andy Gray at Sky Sports.
Under-fire Richard Keys is also now odds-on at 4/5 to follow his colleague out of the door and leave before the weekend.
Following Gray’s dismissal it’s 25/1 that temporary commentator from Monday night, Sam Allardyce, is employed on a full-time basis and 20/1 Alan Shearer quits the BBC for a job at the satellite broadcaster.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Redknapp is in pole position to slip into Gray’s hot seat. Richard Keys is now odds-on to follow in his ex-colleague’s footsteps and leave Sky as pressure continues to mount. We think his number could also be up.”
