Jim’ll fix 300 career wickets

JAMES ANDERSON is in line to take 300 career wickets, according to bookmaker Ladbrokes.

Currently on 205 first class wickets, he is odds-on (1/2) to join England greats Ian Botham (383), Bob Willis (325), and Fred Trueman (307) as the only players to achieve the feat.

It’s 25/1 he breaks Botham’s record to become the leading England wicket taker of all time.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Anderson’s bowling has been an integral part of the retention of the Ashes and we expect him to kick on and write his name in the history books.”
