Dover the best bet at 10/1 for non-league FA Cup success

Published:

Dover have already overcome huge obstacles to make it to the FA Cup third round, and look good at 10/1 in the betting to go one stage further.

Dover’s campaign began in September with a win against Erith Town, before wins against Cambridge City and Farnborough set up a second round game with League Two side Gillingham.

They were huge outsiders in the two leg affair, but came through comfortably, winning both games 2-0. Things will be harder against League One side Huddersfield, but backing them at 10/1 could certainly be worth a bet – especially considering the Terriers indifferent form over the past few weeks.

They have won only one of their last four games and with Dover stuffing Thurrock 7-2 in their last game, backing an upset could be well worth a bet.

The other two non-league teams still in the competition are Crawley and York City who face Derby and Bolton respectively.

Crawley are 12/5 to win against Nigel Clough’s side, while York City can be backed at 12/1 to come out on top against Premier League side Bolton.

Ladbrokes.com have a special market to mark the occasion. You can bet on how many of the three non-league teams will make it through to the next round, with no team making it through the shortest price at 10/11.

However, the odds of 6/5 for one side to progress or 6/1 for two teams to make it though could certainly be worth a bet.

A £10 bet all three non-league teams making it through could lead to a return of £500! . New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
