Carling Cup preview – Arsenal odds-on to lift the trophy

| 10.01.2011

Arsenal are 4/9 to win this season’s Carling Cup at the semi-final stage.

The Gunners travel to Portman road to face Ipswich (18/1) and are 2/5 to win the game.

It’s 7/2 the game is a draw and 7/1 Ipswich win.

The other semi final takes place at Upton Park and looks finely poised with West Ham (5/1 for the Cup) the 6/5 favourites to win.

It’s 23/10 the game is drawn and the same prices applies to a City victory. The Blues are the 4/1 second favourites to lift the trophy.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “All the money is for Arsenal as punters feel their wait for a trophy is over.”
