Brighton to maintain momentum with Bournemouth win

Published:

Bournemouth may have an imposing home record in League One this season, but Brighton should be backed at 8/5 to take the three points and continue their charge towards the title.

Brighton lead the standings by four points at present and are on fire with four successive victories in all competitions.

They have also only lost one of their last six meetings with Bournemouth.

Bournemouth have won nine of their 12 fixtures at Dean Court this season and this form makes them well priced at 8/5 in the League One betting to beat Brighton.

However, they are on a two-game winless streak and caretaker boss Lee Bradbury is still looking for a first success.

If Brighton lose at Bournemouth, Huddersfield could move to within one point of top spot with a home triumph over Colchester.

Huddersfield have avoided defeat in eight of their nine meetings with Colchester, while they have failed to lose any of the last ten at home.

The Terriers are also on a three-game winning run in the league and look good value at 5/6 to beat Colchester.

Colchester have also conceded a minimum of three goals in three of their last four games and therefore Huddersfield may be worth backing at 11/1 to win 3-1.

Those visualising an unexpected away win can get odds of 10/3.

Elsewhere in League One, Charlton will fancy their chances of ending a six-game winless streak against Plymouth.

Charlton’s betting odds are 4/6 to beat Plymouth and extend their undefeated run against the opposition to five games.

Plymouth are 4/1 to beat Charlton, but will have to do so without the services of top scorer Bradley Wright-Phillips, who is out with a knee injury.

A £25 stake on the treble of Huddersfield, Brighton and Charlton all winning would return £198.50. New customers can sign up here for a free £25 bet.
