Bet on Charlton at 17/10 to continue fine away form

Charlton have the best recent away form in League One and they should be supported at 17/10 to continue this with a victory at another in-form team in Rochdale.

The Addicks are unbeaten in their last six games on the road and have failed to taste defeat in their last five encounters with Rochdale, winning on four of these occasions.

Another factor in Charlton’s favour is that they can hand a debut to League One top scorer Bradley Wright-Phillips, following his arrival from Plymouth.

Wright Phillips is 6/1 in the League One betting odds to score the first goal against Rochdale, with potential strike partner Paul Benson quoted the same price.

Rochdale have not been in bad form themselves of late, winning four of their last six games, and are 6/4 to beat Charlton.

Plymouth begin life without Wright-Phillips at home to Bournemouth and are 15/8 to claim the three points.

However, preference is with the visitors, who will be up for the game as they know that a victory is guaranteed to take them to within three points of table-toppers Brighton.

Bournemouth’s betting odds are 11/8 to beat Plymouth and have already comfortably defeated the opposition once 3-0 this season.

Elsewhere in League One, Walsall face a massive game if they harbour hopes of avoiding relegation as they host Bristol Rovers.

Both sides are currently trapped in the bottom four with Walsall without a win in their last six fixtures.

They are 7/5 to bring this run to an end against Bristol Rovers, who themselves have been dismal on their travels of late.

Bristol Rovers are 9/5 to beat Walsall, with the draw valued at 12/5.

A £25 stake on Charlton beating Rochdale 2-1 would return £200. New customers can sign up here for a free £25 bet.
