Avram granted time at West Ham

Avram Grant is a huge drifter with Ladbrokes in the ‘next Premier League manager to go’ market following West Ham’s announcement that he is set to stay at the club.

Previously just 1/8 to be the next manager to leave his job he is now 10/11 but still the favourite with Carlo Ancelotti next at 6/1.

Recently appointed temporary Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is trimmed from 12/1 to 10/1 with Ian Holloway another mover in the market (25/1 into 16/1)

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “West Ham’s statement sees Grant move from a shoe-in for the sack to a slightly safer position but he is yet to shake off the unwanted tag of favourite. As managers above him slip up it’s their odds which now shorten as punters look for an alternative.”
