Wales to speed to major tournament qualification?

| 14.12.2010

GARY SPEED IS 12/1 with Ladbrokes to get Wales to a major tournament. The newly appointed national manager is also odds-on (8/13) to see out the duration of his three-and-a-half-year contract.

He faces England in two Euro qualifiers and sadly for Wales supporters, it’s 4/5 that he loses both games. A sensational home and away victory over England is 50/1.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The appointment of Speed will be seen as a step in the right direction. Surely qualifying for a major tournament must be at the top of his priority list.”
