Jimenez is the pick of the leaders in the Nedbank Golf Challenge

With just 12 of the world’s best golfers competing in Sun City this week, there is plenty of value to be found in the Nedbank Golf Challenge betting market.

World number one Lee Westwood entered the competition at 3/1, and continues to be priced at 3/1 to win the Nedbank Golf Challenege despite sitting four shots off the lead.

Ross Fisher is setting the early pace and the Englishman is 7/2 to win in Sun City this week, but in close attendance just two shots back are Open champion Louis Oosthuizen, and Justin Rose, both 6/1 to win the Nedbank respectively.

The home challenge is being led by Ernie Els, Retief Goosen and Tim Clark and the three South Africans are 8/1, 16/1 and 50/1 to win on home soil.

Miguel Angel Jimenez has had an incredible year on the European Tour, and the Ryder Cup winner offers plenty of value at 10/1 to win the Nedbank Golf Challenge.

The rest of the field is made up of Jimenez’s Ryder Cup team-mates Padraig Harrington and Edoardo Molinari, last year’s Nedbank runner-up Anders Hansen and Australian Robert Allenby.

Allenby won on his most recent start in Australia and should be considered a front-runner considering his confidence will be high, and the reigning Nedbank champion is 8/1 to win consecutive titles.

As it stands, Clark and Molinari are propping up the leaderboard but with three and a half more days of golf to play, all 12 competitors are in with a shout of landing the title.

A £10 stake on Jimenez winning the Nebank Golf Challenge would return £110. New customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
