Osasuna overpriced at 11/1 to cause upset and beat Barcelona

Osasuna look massively overpriced at 11/1 to bring Barcelona back down to earth in La Liga following their recent 5-0 demolition of Real Madrid.

Confidence will be high in Pep Guardiola’s camp following their almighty display against their fellow Spanish giants, while they also sit on top of the La Liga table.

Furthermore, Barcelona have won all six of their La Liga away games this season and Lionel Messi has 13 goals in the opening 13 games of the campaign.

However, it is highly unlikely that Barcelona will be able to reproduce the sort of performance that they displayed against Real Madrid and they do not have the greatest recent record away at Osasuna.

Barcelona have won just one of their last five trips to Osasuna and this leads to the belief that Barcelona are too short at 1/4 to leave with the three points this season.

Meanwhile, Osasuna are unbeaten at home this season, conceding just two goals in these six games and keeping clean sheets in their last three matches at the Reyno de Navarra.

If Barcelona do slip up, then Real Madrid will be keen to take advantage by winning their home game with Valencia.

Jose Mourinho would have told his side to bounce back in the right way from their loss to Barcelona and although Valencia are another of their bigger title rivals, Real Madrid do seem to enjoy playing them.

Real Madrid were the only team to do the double over Valencia last season and are particularly strong at the Bernabeu, where they have won their last nine league games.

Mourinho’s team are 1/3 to beat Valencia and goals should not be a problem as they have found the net in 24 of their last 25 home games with the opposition.

A £10 bet on the double of Osasuna and Valencia both causing upsets and winning will lead to a return of £1,080. New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
