Nani sees Arsenal and not Chelsea as biggest title threat

Nani believes that Arsenal are bigger Premier League title rivals to Manchester United this season than Chelsea.

One win in their last six games in all competitions has not only resulted in Chelsea slipping to third in the standings, but they have also lengthened from 4/7 earlier in the season to win the Premier League to their current price of 7/4.

Manchester United are the favourite in this betting odds market at 13/8 and they are still to taste defeat in the league this season after 15 games.

However, this still leaves them a point adrift of Arsenal, although they do have the luxury of a game in hand.

Nani believes that there is greater confidence within the Arsenal camp than at Chelsea at present and this makes them more dangerous as title challengers.

The Manchester United winger said: “Arsenal are a bigger threat than Chelsea now. Chelsea have lost a few games and drawn some and their confidence looks a bit low.

“But Arsenal have been winning and being top of the league gives you great confidence. Arsenal have been doing well. They are growing up in the way we are.”

Arsenal’s betting odds to win the Premier League are 7/2 and their next game could be vital in deciding the whereabouts of the title at the end of the season as it is against Manchester United.

Manchester United are unbeaten in four games against the Gunners and Nani was at his sparkling best in last season’s league meeting at the Emirates when the Red Devils secured a 3-1 victory.

Premier League betting odds have Manchester United at 1/1 to beat Arsenal at Old Trafford, while the visitors are 11/4 to take the three points.

A £10 bet on Manchester United beating Arsenal 2-0 could result in a payout of £80. New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
