Bet on Hannover vs Stuttgart – All avenues suggest home win

Published:

Hannover seem extremely overpriced at 6/4 to make it five Bundesliga victories in succession as they host a Stuttgart side still searching for their first away victory of the campaign.

Match Odds

After just managing to avoid relegation on the final day of last season, many can be excused for thinking that Hannover would be involved in another campaign battling for survival.

However, this has proved largely wrong as they currently occupy fourth spot in the Bundesliga standings, thanks to nine victories from their 15 games so far.

They have collected 16 of their 24 points at home and have beaten second-placed Mainz and Hamburg in their previous four games.

Meanwhile, despite having a squad high on quality, Stuttgart are floundering third from bottom in the standings.

This poor and unexpected showing can primarily be put down to their away form, where they have taken two points from a possible 21 and conceded 17 goals.

The Bundesliga betting odds have Stuttgart at 9/5 to take the three points, although they have failed to win any of their last three away games with Hannover.

Over/Under 2.5 goals

One of the other leading betting possibilities could be on the clash between Hannover and Stuttgart featuring a minimum of three goals.

Very few dull games have featured either team of late as more than two goals have been scored in seven of Hannover’s last eight games, while five of Stuttgart’s last seven games have seen at least three goals scored.

It is 8/13 that the meeting produces over 2.5 goals, while it is 13/8 that over 3.5 goals are scored.

Hannover’s Didier Ya Konan may be the most likely suspect for those looking to uncover the opening goalscorer as he has already found the net on seven occasions this season.

A £10 bet on Hannover’s encounter with Stuttgart finishing 2-2 could lead to a return of £140. New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
