Bet on AC Milan vs Roma – Visitors have proved a bogey team

Published:

AC Milan may have won six of their last seven Serie A games, but they could struggle to continue this run as they host one of their bogey teams of recent seasons in Roma.

Serie A betting odds have current table toppers Milan as the 5/6 favourites to beat Roma, despite the fact that they have only triumphed in one of the last eight meetings between the pair.

Roma have also been in reasonable form of late, losing just one of their last ten league games and taking the three points on six of these occasions.

Claudio Ranieri’s team are 7/2 to beat AC Milan, although they have won just once on their travels in the league so far.

Juventus are unbeaten in 11 Serie A games and history suggests that if they are to lose away at Chievo then it is likely to be by a 1-0 scoreline.

Chievo are unbeaten in their last five games at home and are 3/1 to beat Juventus.

However, they have never scored more than once in a home game against the Old Lady and it is 6/1 that the correct scoreline ends 1-0 in their favour.

Juventus are the top scorers in the league this season with 31 goals and are 1/1 to leave Chievo with maximum points.

Elsewhere in Serie A, Sampdoria host Genoa, with the home side only losing one of their last 36 league matches at the Marassi.

Sampdoria are 6/4 to beat Genoa, who will need to overcome their troubles in front of goal if they want to secure victory.

Genoa have failed to score in three of their last four games and are 2/1 to land the spoils, which is the same price as the draw.

A £10 bet on Milan and Roma battling out a 1-1 draw could result in a payout of £55. New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
