Another big win likely for Barcelona as they host Levante

| 30.12.2010

Barcelona have their eyes fixed on an 11th successive La Liga victory and they will fancy their chances of beating a Levante side that lost 8-0 to Real Madrid in their most recent away game.

La Liga betting odds have Barcelona as the unbackable 1/14 favourites and they have won all of their five previous home games against Levante in the top flight.

Little optimism can be placed on a Levante victory based on Barcelona’s scintillating form and the fact that they themselves have only taken two points from their last six away games.

They have managed to score in nine of their ten top flight outings against Barcelona and are 14/1 to repeat Hercules’ achievement earlier in the season and take the three points from the Nou Camp.

Elsewhere, Sevilla may be a good bet at 4/7 to beat Osasuna given the fact that they are unbeaten in eight league games at home against the opposition.

Their chances may be given a further boost as Osasuna have not even managed to score in their last three games against Sevilla.

However, Sevilla have lost their last five league games and Osasuna are 4/1 to extend this run.

The other televised La Liga game sees Valencia host Espanyol and there is every chance that they will also secure a home victory.

Espanyol have lost six of their last seven trips to the Mestalla, while they failed to score in both of their La Liga clashes with Sevilla last season.

Throw into the mix that Valencia have lost just one of their last six league games and just one of their last 20 at home, then it is even harder to suggest an Espanyol win.

It is 4/7 that Valencia beat Espanyol and 4/1 that the visitors take maximum points.

A £10 stake on Barcelona winning 8-0 would return £280. New customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
