MK Dons to continue ongoing misery at Sheffield Wednesday

Published:

Sheffield Wednesday are having enough troubles off the field at present and may have their minds elsewhere, which gives no reason to believe they will enjoy a rare piece of good news from their next League One game at MK Dons.

The Dons have avoided defeat in all of their eight league games at home so far, conceding just five goals.

It is 13/10 that the MK Dons beat Sheffield Wednesday to extend their winning League One run to four straight home games, with a victory also liable to lift them into the play-off positions.

Sheffield Wednesday could also potentially move into the top six by taking the three points and they are 21/10 to beat MK Dons.

Huddersfield are another League One outfit in play-off contention and will fancy their chances of obtaining a home victory against Exeter.

Lee Clark’s team are 4/6 to beat Exeter in their first league game at the Galpharm Stadium in November.

Meanwhile, they have also won their last two league fixtures at home without conceding a goal.

Exeter may have taken confidence from their win over Notts County in their last game, which ended a run of three successive defeats in League One.

However, they have failed to find the target in their last three away games and this makes a victory over Huddersfield unlikely at 4/1.

Paul Ince is still waiting for his first league victory as Notts County boss and he may not get a better chance than taking the three points at home to Tranmere, which would lift them above the opposition and out of the relegation places.

Ince has lost both games 3-1 since replacing Craig Short, but is 10/11 to claim a maiden triumph over Tranmere.

The visitors have won their last two games in all competitions and are 3/1 to continue this sequence against Notts County.

Tranmere have won both these games 1-0 and it is 8/1 that this score is repeated, while 28/1 is on offer that Ince loses 3-1 again. See the full League One football betting odds market.
