JLS pick Cher as their top X Factor act for a future duet

JLS have stated that if there was any act from this year’s X Factor that they would like to do a collaboration with in the future, then it would be Cher Lloyd.

Cher is often regarded as the most current of the contestants, with her mix of singing and rapping earning her some decent praise from the judges in the live X Factor shows so far.

Combining two recognised songs into one track has proved especially liked, with Elton John’s ‘Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word’ and ‘Mockingbird’ by Eminem garnering praise in the most recent show.

And it is this style that has impressed JLS, who know what it takes to do well on the X Factor having finished runners up to Alexandra Burke in 2008.

Speaking to new! Magazine, band member Marvin Humes said: “She’s unique. I think that she’d work well with us.”

Aston Merrygold felt the same way and added: “100 per cent. It would be fantastic. She’s a pop star.”

Cher is 8/1 in the X Factor betting to win the show and much will come down to if she can improve her likeability with the voting public.

Louis Walsh has taken a swipe at the 17-year-old and criticised the fact that she believes her own hype that she will be an instant success

The X Factor judge continued that Cher regularly acts like a diva, is “as miserable as she looks” and struggles to be nice to people.

However, Cher does have the backing of mentor Cheryl Cole and is 11/4 to be Cheryl’s last remaining girl left in the X Factor.

Both Cher and Rebecca Ferguson feature prominently in the X Factor betting and give Cheryl a strong chance of mentoring the winner for the third series of the talent show in a row, which can be backed at 6/4.

Hopes are high that Cher will feature in the final of the show as she is 33/1 to be the ninth act eliminated. See the full X Factor betting odds market.
