Fiorentina to be unable to halt Juventus’ unbeaten run

Juventus currently have the longest unbeaten streak in Serie A and it is expected that they will avoid losing again when they host Fiorentina.

The Old Lady have not been beaten in nine games and this has taken them to within six points of current Serie A table toppers AC Milan.

They are 8/13 to beat Fiorentina, who themselves are on a dismal run on their travels as they have gone 11 games without a win and lost on eight of these occasions.

In Fiorentina’s favour is that they have only lost one of their last four away games with Juventus and they are 11/2 to leave with the three points this season.

However, if they are to secure a positive result, Fiorentina will have to calm what has so far proved the best attack in Serie A, with 25 goals in 13 games.

Roma are one of the other form teams in the division and have reached the dizzy heights of fifth after featuring in the relegation places in the early stages of the campaign.

They are on a seven-game unbeaten run, but may find things tough against a Palermo side who tend to be useful on their own patch.

Palermo have won three of their last four games at home and have put three goals past Roma on both of their last two visits.

Delio Rossi’s team are 8/5 to beat Roma, despite only having beaten the opposition once in their previous nine encounters.

Javier Pastore is 7/1 to score the first goal for Palermo, but it is Roma that have two worthy candidates in this market.

Marco Borriello has scored four goals in Roma’s last five games and is 6/1 to break the deadlock, while Jeremy Menez is coming into some form lately and is 11/1 to strike first.

A £10 bet on Menez to be the first goalscorer will lead to a payout of £110. New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
