Chelsea odds-against for title as Ancelotti is cut for the sack

Chelsea have been eased to 11/10 with Ladbrokes for the Premier League after defeat at Birmingham.

It is the first time the Blues have been odds-against for the title since early September.

Manchester United are in to 15/8 after capitalising on slips from the champions and Arsenal (out to 9/2).

Stamford Bridge boss Carlo Ancelotti is also now 20/1 to be the next top flight manager to lose his job as his side continue their endure their worst run for some time.

With Celtic, Brighton and Cardiff all failing to win, the bookies were celebrating one of their most enjoyable Saturday of results of the year.

David Williams of Ladbrokes said: “Chelsea’s defeat has thrown the title race wide open. It is precisely what we were hoping for and with Arsenal throwing it away at the Emirates we’ve had a smashing afternoon.”
