Blackpool vs Wolves – One poor record likely to be improved

Published:

Blackpool may have the worst home record in the Premier League through the opening 13 games of the season, but they will fancy their chances of improving on this when they host Wolves.

Match Odds

Ian Holloway’s team have so far produced their best form away, taking just five points from their fixtures at Bloomfield Road.

However, with Wolves claiming just one point on their travels to have the worst away form, Blackpool’s attacking play could pay dividends and they are 13/10 to beat Wolves.

Wolves have also lost their last three games, but have not played overly badly in these defeats and some may say that they are due a positive result.

It is 2/1 that Wolves beat Blackpool in the Premier League betting odds.

Correct Scoreline

Wolves have not lost any of their last 14 meetings with Blackpool and there is every reason to think that they will have to score at least twice to take the three points.

Mick McCarthy’s team are the only team in the Premier League still to keep a clean sheet this season, while Blackpool have conceded more than anyone else.

Therefore Wolves to win 2-1 or 3-2 could both represent good value and can be backed at 10/1 and 25/1 to be the correct scoreline.

A successful bet on the latter could prove especially profitable as for a £10 stake £250 could be won, alongside the initial stake.

Under/Over 2.5 goals

Following on from this, the 8/13 on offer for the game to have at least three goals scored seems liable to happen.

There have been at least three goals in eight of Blackpool’s last nine games, while four of Wolves’ last five games in all competitions have also had a minimum of three goals scored.

In Wolves’ 44 career Premier League games away from home, they have won just four times. See the full Blackpool vs Wolves match football betting odds market.
