Unbeaten teams may cancel each other out in promotion battle

Wycombe travel to Staffordshire confident in the knowledge they are yet to lose away from home in five games, but Burton Albion boast an unbeaten home record. p>

Gareth Ainsworth will return to the Wycombe line-up after impressing last week when setting up both goals in Wycombe’s 2-0 win over Stevenage and defender Dave Winfield has recovered from illness.

Burton defenders Aaron Webster and Darren Moore face late fitness tests whilst goalkeeper Adam Legzdins is still out with a dislocated finger so 47-year-old Kevin Poole will continue to deputise.

Wycombe will be looking to take advantage of a depleted Burton defence that has conceded just four goals in five home games and Wycombe are 9/5 to win.

Burton have scored nine times in those five games and are 7/5 to win at home but the two sides have player out eleven goalless draws between them this season and a 0-0 scoreline is available at 8/1.

Gillingham vs Stockport County

Both teams have failed to gain any momentum this season and both sides will be disappointed with their campaigns after being relegated from League One last year

Just one point splits these two teams in the table but Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler has a crocked squad for the visit of Stockport.

Hessenthaler is missing striker Adebayo Akinefenwa and midfielders Curtis Weston and Danny Spiller but Stockport will hand a debut to Anthony Pulis who has joined on-loan from Southampton.

Despite missing a host of fowards, Gillingham haven’t conceded at home in 341 minutes and they are unbeaten against Stockport in eight games – Gillingham are 4/5 to beat Stockport.

A 0-0 draw, available at 9/1, would end Stockport’s three game run of conceding exactly two goals and keep them above Gillingham in the table.

Stockport are 10/3 to register a victory in Kent. See the full League Two football betting odds market here.
