Paije Richardson Betting Odds

Paije Richardson enters the X Factor live shows as Dannii Minogue’s wildcard pick, and his odds of 66/1 suggest his X Factor career may be short lived.

Louis Walsh was the saviour of Paije’s X Factor dream after the 19-year-old from London originally received two rejections from Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell after his original audition of Frank Sinatra’s ‘Come Fly With Me’.

Cowell compared Paije to a wedding singer after that performance and it was only thanks to Louis suggesting that Paije come back at the end of the day to perform a different song.

Paije then proceeded to blow the judges minds with his rendition of James Brown’s ‘This is a Man’s World’ before scraping through as Dannii Minogue’s wildcard with a rendition of Cyndi Lauper’s ‘True Colours’.

Week’s one and two saw Paije make it safely through after performances of Roberta Flack’s ‘Killing Me Softly’ and Alicia Keys’ ‘If I Ain’t Got You’.

However, the death of his grandmother has disrupted Paije’s preparations for week three of the television show, and it could seriously affect his performance on Saturday as he battles for survival – Paije is 5/1 to be the fifth act eliminated.

The shows bosses are confident Paije will take to the stage on Saturday in what is sure to be an emotionally charged performance that the voting public would be hard find fault with.

It would take only the most of unsympathetic of hearts to vote off a grieving contestant and Paije should be on the television screens in week four.

Paije is 12/1 to finish as the top boy in the X Factor specials betting market.
