Hereford vs Port Vale – Top travels to bottom in League Two
Bottom of League Two Hereford host league leaders Port Vale at Edgar Street and will be looking to compound Vale’s misery after Mickey Adams’ side suffered successive defeats. p>
Adams has seen his side defeated in their last two games, in the league against Oxford and against Carlisle in the Johnston’s paint trophy.
Adam’s will be boosted by the return of Doug Loft after his shin injury but will be without Lewis Haldane as Vale look to end their Edgar Street curse.
Vale haven’t won away to Hereford since 1983, in a run that dates back six games, but they still commanded favouritism at 4/5 to win.
Hereford are 7/2 to win at home but have lost seven of their last eight league games, and have only managed four goals in the league this season.
Vale scored exactly two goals in both ties with Hereford last season and are 7/1 to win 2-0.
Considering they kept five clean sheets in a row before their loss to Oxford, it’s safe to assume Hereford will struggle to break down the Vale defence.
Bury vs Accrington Stanley
Bury are without striker Andy Bishop for the clash with Accrington Stanley but can count on Ryan Lowe to continue finding the net like he has done all season.
Lowe has scored in six of Bury’s ten games this season and is 4/1 to get the first goal as Bury taget a win against their promotion rivals – they are 1/1 to beat Accrington.
Accrington are 11/4 to win but the two sides have never player out a goalless draw and Accrington’s last two games have produced 15 goals so expect more plenty of goals at Gigg Lane.
Bury are 12/5 to be leading at half time and leading at full time.
Port Vale are still the 7/2 favourites to win League Two. See the full League Two football betting odds market here.
