Hannover vs St Pauli – Ya Konan to keep up home scoring record

| 01.10.2010

Hannover may have shocked many people with their flying start to the Bundesliga season and there is a strong chance that this may continue with a victory over St Pauli.

Match Odds

Hannover have won six of their eight league games this season to reach the dizzy heights of third spot in the table and have been especially impressive when playing at home.

They have scored eight times in their three home matches, which has resulted in two victories and a draw.

Hannover are 1/1 to beat St Pauli in the Bundesliga betting odds, but the visitors are no mugs on their travels.

St Pauli may have not kept a clean sheet on the road this season, conceding one goal in all of their three away games, but they have won on two of these occasions.

They are 11/4 to win at Hannover, despite losing three of their last five league matches.

First Goalscorer

If Hannover are to win then they may rely on Didier Ya Konan to continue his hot streak at home.

The Ivory Coast striker has found the net in all three of Hannover’s home games and is 5/1 to be the first goalscorer against St Pauli.

Meanwhile, strike partner Mohammed Abdellaoue is Hannover’s top scorer with four league goals and is also 5/1 to open the scoring.

St Pauli have shared the goals around their squad this season, but Fabian Boll may represent their best chance of finding the target and is 14/1 to strike first.

Despite Hannover’s impressive start to the campaign, they are still 100/1 to win the Bundesliga. See the complete Bundesliga winners betting odds market.
