Bet on Milan vs Juventus – Rossoneri can go top if they beat Juve

Published:

You wouldn’t bet on it lasting, but AC Milan currently sit proudly in second, one place above rivals Inter and three places above Juventus, who they face next in Serie A.

Match Odds

Milan have four wins out of four in Serie A and enjoyed a good 2-1 win away at Napoli on their last outing.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri seems to have found a way to get goals from all his strikers, with Alexandre Pato, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho all netting in the last few matches, all ably assisted by balls from Clarence Seedorf and Ronaldinho.

Good form and goals makes Milan favourites to beat Juventus at 10/11.

Juve have been less convincing, with four draws from their last five outings.

Though new signings Milan Krasic and Fabio Quagliarella have made good starts to their Juve careers, scoring three times each, this hasn’t turned draws into wins for the Bianconeri.

The odds on them beating Milan are not wild, at 3/1, but you’d imagine they’d settle for yet another draw, with odds of 12/5 on that being the case.

First Goalscorer

With Milan’s attacking options as expansive as it gets, there’s a reason why the five slimmest odds are all given to Milan players in the first goalscorer category.

Of those, Robinho is the best value at 7/1 as he’s got two in two in the league and will want to add to that.

For Juventus, Quagliarella and captain Alessandro Del Piero are both 8/1 to open the scoring.

As their top scorer, this seems like quite generous for Quagliarella to score first and could be well worth a punt.

Another, more hopeful, bet is Liverpool flop Alberto Aquilani who already has one goal for Juve this season and is 20/1 to score his second against Milan.

Pato is 11/2 to score the first goal against Juventus, follow the full Serie A odds market here.
