Bet on Hercules vs Real Madrid – Three more points for Real

Published:

Real Madrid have scored 16 goals in their last three league games and Cristiano Ronaldo has scored eight of them. Hercules must be praying Mourinho gives him the weekend off.

Match Odds

Real Madrid are simply unstoppable at the moment.

Not only are they scoring goals for fun, but they’re gelling as a team and seem to have managed to find the right balance between explosive attacking and a steely defence.

They’ve yet to lose this season and sit top of La Liga after eight games.

Hercules, who are currently all the way down in 13th place, aren’t likely to cause too many problems and Madrid are rated 3/10 to win again.

Hercules haven’t won in four matches and are likely to have written this game off before a ball is even kicked, hence their 8/1 odds for a home game.

Their odds are only as low as that because they pulled off the shock of the season by beating Barcelona at the Nou Camp, that though, is very unlikely to happen again.

First Goalscorer

If Hercules are going to stand a chance they have to stop Ronaldo.

The Portugal captain has nine goals in eight leagues games so far this season and is made the clear favourite at 9/4 to open the scoring against Hercules.

He’s closely followed by Gonzalo Higuian, who has five for the season and is rated 11/4 to score first.

After that, you have the playmakers extraordinaire Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria, who both have two goals each so far this year. Ozil is 5/1 to score first and Di Maria is 9/2.

Hercules summer signing David Trezeguet has settled in reasonably well and has added three goals to his career tally thus far, he may find it difficult to beat Iker Casillas, but at 8/1, he might be worth a punt for a sneaky early goal.

Real Madrid are 12/1 to win 4-0 at Hercules, follow the full La Liga odds market here.
