Bet on Clijsters vs Azarenka – Clijsters has the form on hard courts
Published:Kim Clijsters has already had the opportunity to shake off the rust of a lengthy absence after her US Open victory and can now get back to playing her best tennis as she faces Victoria Azarenka at the WTA Championship.

In her first game since landing a third US Open success at Flushing Meadows in early September, Clijsters kicked off her White Group campaign with a comfortable win over Jelena Jankovic.
However, a much tougher challenge is likely to be posed by Azarenka, who arrives in Doha high on confidence having just won another hard court tournament in Russia.
Clijsters is 1/2 to beat Azarenka and has won both previous meetings to have taken place between the pair on hard courts, with the most recent of which coming in March this year.
However, Azarenka has beaten Clijsters since at Eastbourne in June, but this victory did come on a grass surface.
The Belarusian is 6/4 to beat Clijsters and much will depend on whether she can pick herself up from losing her opening White Group match with Vera Zvonareva.
Azaranka has nothing to lose as she knows that she must win to stand any chance of qualifying for the latter stages of the tournament and showed signs against Zvonareva that she has the game to trouble Clijsters.
Set Betting
Azarenka started both sets promisingly against Zvonareva by claiming early breaks and if she does the same against Clijsters then the 10/3 offered for a 2-0 victory could prove profitable.
However, Azarenka also showed that there is weakness on her own serve and if Clijsters gains the upper hand early then the match could end quickly.
This could especially prove the case as Azarenka has had little time to recover from her mentally and physically draining clash with Zvonareva.
Clijsters to win 2-0 in sets is 6/5 and any victory would secure her spot in the last four of the season-ending tournament.
