Plymouth host Brighton in search of rare successive home victories

Plymouth will be out to make it back-to-back home victories when they host Brighton and look to continue to progress up the League One table.

Despite having Bondz N’Gala sent off in the first half, Plymouth went on to beat Sheffield Wednesday in their last home game.

And they will be keen to follow up against Brighton, particularly as the last time they won successive home games was back in October 2008.

Plymouth are 7/5 to beat Brighton in the League One betting and they can take confidence from the fact that they have beaten the opposition in their last two visits to Home Park.

Brighton could move joint top of the table with Huddersfield should they win their game in hand at Plymouth and they come into the fixture having kept clean sheets in their last two League One outings.

They are 9/5 to beat Plymouth, with 7/1 on offer for Brighton to win 1-0.

The other midweek game in the division sees bottom club Dagenham and Redbridge host Exeter.

Dagenham are 13/10 to claim victory with their only other win this season coming at their home of Victoria Road over local rivals Leyton Orient.

Just five seasons ago the Daggers were facing Exeter in the Blue Square Premier, while they have also clashed again in League Two since as they both continued their rise up the football pyramid.

Exeter won both games 2-1 when the pair met in League Two and they are 2/1 to emerge victorious again, while a 2-1 win is priced at 9/1.

French midfielder Romain Vincelot is responsible for three of Dagenham’s four league goals and is 12/1 to open the scoring against Exeter.

Brighton are 10/1 to win League One this season. See the full League One winners market.
