Nouble wants to follow the example set by Sinclair at Swansea

Frank Nouble is determined to ensure that he leaves a lasting impression at Swansea and has vowed to follow in the footsteps of Scott Sinclair.

Nouble has arrived at the Liberty Stadium for three months on loan from West Ham and has already scored the first senior goal of his career in the recent win over Watford.

He is now hoping that a regular run in the first team under Brendan Rodgers will improve his consistency and enable him to add even more goals to his game.

Sinclair has gained a vast amount of Championship experience during various loan spells at different clubs, but has quickly settled at Swansea after making a permanent switch from Chelsea.

He has already scored four league goals and the same amount in the Carling Cup and has flourished since being regularly included in the starting line-up.

Nouble told the South Wales Evening Post: “He’s playing week-in, week-out and it’s no surprise he’s had a great start because of it. For me it’s a case of following that lead.

“I’ve got a manager here who is confident in what I can do and a team that can play some great football, so the chance is there for me. I’m young and I will keep striving to be my best.”

Sinclair is now 33/1 to finish as the Championship’s top scorer this season, while Swansea are 20/1 to win the Championship.

They are currently eighth in the table in the cluster chasing early leaders QPR and are at home to Derby next in their quest to close this gap.

Swansea are 4/5 to beat Derby and extend their 100 per cent winning record in the league this season to five games, with Nouble 5/1 to be the first goalscorer.

QPR are the 6/4 favourites to win the Championship. See the full Championship winners betting odds market.
