Lazio set sights on breaking lengthy Milan winless streak

AC Milan are the ultimate bogey team for Lazio in Serie A, but this could be the year when their winless streak that stretches to 12 years finally ends.

Lazio have not beaten Milan since February 1998 and are 9/4 to end this run at the Stadio Olimpico this season.

Milan have scored ten goals in their last three visits to the Rome ground and left with a 2-1 victory last season when Alexandre Pato struck what proved to be the winner.

However, a repeat is out of the question with the young Brazilian injured, which could mean that Robinho may start in a three-pronged attack alongside Ronaldinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

If Lazio are to win then Hernanes could have a major role to play against Milan’s ageing midfield and is 9/1 to open the scoring in the Serie A betting.

Inter are currently one of the joint leaders at the head of Serie A and will fancy their chances of continuing their fine start with a home win over Bari.

Rafa Benitez’ team are unbeaten in their last ten Serie A games and have not lost at home in 42 league outings at home.

Inter are 4/11 to beat Bari, but the visitors will fancy their chances as they were just one of three Serie A teams to avoid defeat in both fixtures against the league champions last season.

Bari are also undefeated this season and can be backed at 8/1 to take three points away from the San Siro.

Key to a Bari victory may be expanding their record of four clean sheets in six games and keeping Samuel Eto’o quiet as he has already scored six times for Inter this season.

Inter are 4/7 to win Serie A for the sixth successive season. See the whole Serie A winners market.
