Hull and Barnsley put unbeaten home records on the line
Hull may be struggling on their travels in the Championship, but their seeming invincibility at home should result in them making some progress up the table with a win over Coventry.
Nigel Pearson’s team are unable to keep things tight away from home, conceding 13 goals in five games, but they are the complete opposite at the KC Stadium, where they have not let in a goal in four games.
They are 1/1 to beat Coventry, but it is almost certain to be a low-scoring affair.
Hull have only scored four goals in as many home games, while three of the last four meetings between the pair at Hull have ended with a 1-0 win.
It is 6/1 for Hull to win 1-0, with top-scorer Robert Koren 10/1 to net the first goal.
Barnsley are another team far better at home than away and this could spell bad news for Cardiff.
Cardiff have been stuttering in the Championship of late and have won just one of their last four games, while suffering defeats in both of their last two away.
They are 11/8 to win at Barnsley, who despite still waiting for a first away victory, are still unbeaten at Oakwell.
Barnsley won both games against Cardiff last season and are 19/10 to beat them again.
One of the big games towards the foot of the Championship table pits Middlesbrough against Portsmouth.
Middlesbrough have been relatively good at home with three wins from four matches and are 11/10 to beat Portsmouth, who have lost all of their fixtures on the road.
Despite Cardiff’s recent patchy form, they are still 9/2 to win the Championship. See the full Championship winners market.
