Davey brings former AC Milan youth star Rabihou to Hereford

Hereford manager Simon Davey has chosen to bring some African flair to Edgar Street on transfer deadline day in order to improve his team’s prospects of sealing promotion from League Two this season.

Davey has signed Amadou Rabihou until the end of December after a successful trial, with the deal still subject to international clearance.

The Cameroon striker also brings European experience to Hereford, who are 28/1 to win League Two, as he spent his youth career at AC Milan and counts Austrian side Sturm Graz among his former clubs.

Meanwhile, Davey also opted to work alongside Dominik Werling for a third time after the German-born player bought himself out of his contract at Darlington.

Werling has previously played under Davey at Barnsley and Darlington.

Oxford were another team to boost their striking options by signing Tom Craddock from Luton for an undisclosed fee in the closing minutes of the transfer window.

Craddock has agreed terms for three years, while Oxford have also brought in Josh Payne on loan for a month from Doncaster.

Barnet have signed Charlie Taylor from non-league Sutton United for an undisclosed fee, with the forward scoring 20 times for his former club last season.

Elsewhere, Southend have completed the permanent acquisition of defender Chris Barker from Plymouth.

The 30-year-old has been on loan at Roots Hall so far this season, but has now signed for two years on a free transfer.

Oxford are 22/1 and Southend 40/1 to win League Two this season. See the whole market.
