Bet on the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club

The final and most lucrative playoff of the FedEx Cup series gets underway today and there are 30 players all vying for a top prize of $1.35m.

But there are plenty of Tour Championship betting markets to explore before the first pairing of Kevin Streelman and Bo Van Pelt take to the first tee at 4.35pm.

Two ball betting

With the 30 players split into pairings, the most enticing betting opportunities lie in the ties between Justin Rose and Adam Scott, Paul Casey and Jason Day and Matt Kuchar and Dustin Johnson.

All are in really good form at present and are evenly matched up which allows for some value in the two ball betting market.

Scott is 4/5 to beat Rose, 5/4, and the Australian is recapturing the form that saw him become the third best player in the world.

Fellow Australian Day has three top ten finishes in his last four starts, opening with rounds of 69, 67 and 63 and is 5/4 to beat Casey, 4/5, but the Englishman finished second in his last tournament.

Kuchar and Johnson are highly fancied to win the tournament and both are 1/1 to defeat each other with 8/1 available if the two were to shoot the same score.

Top Rest of the World

With the two Australians hopeful of bettering their playing partners, they can mount a challenge to be the top player outside of the US and Europe, but Ernie Els loves this event and this course and is very backable at 5/1 to top the rest of the world betting market.

Casey is 5/4 to be the top European but faces a challenge from Rose and Luke Donald who are 7/2 and 2/1 to be the top European player.

Phil Mickelson is favourite for the tournament at 7/1. See the full Tour Championship betting odds markets here.
