QPR lose 100 per cent record but late fightback keeps them top

Neil Warnock’s team had won all of their opening three Championship games, but they seemed certain to lose their first when Kris Commons and James Bailey put Derby in the driving seat.
However, QPR are not favourites to win the Championship at 4/1 for nothing and battled back late on to maintain their unbeaten start.
They are joined on ten points by Cardiff and Ipswich, who both claimed 2-0 victories over Portsmouth and Bristol City respectively.
Jay Bothroyd struck his sixth goal of the season for Cardiff to add to Hayden Mullins’ own goal as Portsmouth lost at home, while Tamas Priskin and Jason Scotland were on target for Ipswich.
Cardiff have now been supported into 9/2 to win the Championship, with Ipswich valued at 8/1.
Millwall sit a point off the pace as they brought Coventry’s unbeaten start to an end with a 3-1 success and Barnsley capitalised on Middlesbrough’s iffy start to the season with a 2-0 win.
Gordon Strachan’s team are now 10/1 to finish their season at the head of the Championship table after their sluggish start.
Leeds moved into the play-off places as Richard Naylor’s early goal proved enough to claim a good away win at Watford and Swansea maintained their 100 per cent home record by beating Burnley 1-0.
Elsewhere, Gary Speed claimed his first win as Sheffield United manager as a 1-0 success at home to Preston lifted them off the foot of the table.
