Spanish juggernaut to keep on rolling against Poland

It’s safe to say that the statistics are not on Poland’s side ahead of the country’s match with World Cup favourites Spain at the Bernabeu.
Vicente Del Bosque’s team are currently on an 11-game winning streak and have a record stretching back to 2007 of 43 wins, 3 draws and a solitary defeat.
That loss came against the USA at last year’s Confederations Cup and it’s unlikely we’ll see a repeat in Spain’s farewell match before heading off to South Africa on June 11th
The European Championship holders have had a less-than-impressive last couple of games though, relying on late goals to secure narrow wins against much lower ranked sides Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
They will be looking to turn on the style against a rigid Poland team who haven’t lost in five, having drawn their last two matches 0-0 with Serbia and Finland.
Fernando Torres is finally expected to return to action but probably not from the start. A full strength XI apart from the Liverpool man should take the field though, after a second-string lined up against South Korea.
With David Villa, Xavi and Andres Iniesta in the side a win for Spain is a near certain 1/6 shot, so betting on them to win 2-0, at 5/1, and 3-0, at 6/1, seems a better chance for serious profit.
Such is Poland’s stubbornness though – they’ve only conceded two goals in their last five matches – then further value could be obtained by betting Draw/Home in the Half-time/Full-time market. It’s 7/2 and such a result would have won in both of Spain’s last games.
