Now that Gary Barlow has become the third X Factor judge to open a Twitter account, some interesting markets have been made available in relation to the number of followers that he will gain.

Barlow only opened his Twitter account on Sunday night but has already amassed an impressive 340,000 followers.

It is now 13/8 in the X Factor betting that Gary has more Twitter followers than either Kelly Rowland or Tulisa Contostavlos by the end of the second results show of the competition this Sunday.

However, the Take That lead singer may have his work cut out to move past Kelly in just a few days, as she is already being followed by 1.6 million people.

The former Destiny’s Child singer is certainly the most well known of the panel globally and the show could significantly improve her number of UK followers further.

Kelly is 4/9 to have the most X Factor followers on Sunday evening, while Tulisa can be backed at 25/1 in the same market as she currently sits close to 800,000 followers.

Other markets relating to Gary are what his actual Twitter exploits will include.

It is 5/6 that he sends a tweet during the second live X Factor show on Saturday when the programme is live on ITV1, which would make sense to drum up additional interest in his three boys left in the competition – Craig Colton, Marcus Campbell and Frankie Cocozza.

Meanwhile, being a Liverpool football fan, Barlow may also decide to follow us here at Ladbrokes News in order to get some betting tips relating to the club.

Barlow is 10/1 to become a Ladbrokes News follower before October 17th, which he or anyone can do here.
