The housemates are barely settled in the new Celebrity Big Brother house but already some heroes and villains have been cast for the series ahead.
Blue singer Lee Ryan has emerged as the early favourite, while journalist Liz Jones looks set to become the least popular housemate in CBB history.
Ryan has become an instant hit with viewers as a result of his cheeky-chappy behaviour while handcuffed to little-known model Casey Batchelor.
CBB fans love nothing more than a blossoming romance and with Ryan convincing the busty model to remain his bed partner – even when their handcuffs are removed – lust, if not love, looks to be in the air.
Made in Chelsea cast member Ollie Locke and The Only Way is Essex blonde Sam Faiers are next in line in the betting at 3/1 and 5/1 respectively due to the former’s huge following and the latter’s ladylike dealing with Jasmine Waltz’s antics on the opening night.
The American celeb did little to endear herself to her new housemates by overdoing it on the champagne, falling all over the place and flashing her chest despite the Towie girl’s best efforts to protect her modesty.
However, it is Evander Holyfield who has grabbed the early headlines.
The former heavyweight boxing champion remains a 10/1 shot despite being reprimanded by Big Brother for homophobic comments made to his handcuff partner Luisa Zissman.
It is Daily Mail columnist Jones who has borne the brunt of the most vitriol, from both inside and outside the house.
Other housemates, including dancer Lionel Blair grilled the journo on her need to be controversial at the expense of others’ feelings, and with a solitary £1 bet placed on her to win it seems the home audience have not warmed to her ways either.
