Former Hear’Say singer Suzanne Shaw can recapture her past skating glories and win the last ever series of Dancing on Ice, with Ladbrokes offering odds of 9/1 for her to triumph.

The All Star finale has already seen two couples leave, with celebrities Jorgie Porter and Joe Pasquale exiting the rink, and the race is on to crown the final ever winner of the show.

Shaw’s admission that she is still suffering with the grief of losing her father in 2012 has allegedly affected her preparations somewhat, at least according to reports in the Mirror.

But while her struggle may attract sympathy from the public, it’s her technical ability that’s likely to impress the judges.

The West End actress performed a variety of difficult lifts and moves to emerge victorious in series three and remains the only celebrity to successfully complete the notoriously tricky ‘Headbanger’ from a standing takeoff position.

She’ll rekindle her partnership with professional dancer Matt Evers with the pair set to return to television screens when the show is next aired.

Coronation Street star Hayley Tamaddon will provide tough competition with the 2010 winner marking her return with a solid opening display of lifts and splits to Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’.

Tamaddon is 9/2 for outright glory and 8/11 in the Top Female market, although Shaw’s odds of 9/4 for to take the latter gong offer more value.

Both will have odds-on favourite Ray Quinn to contend with though as they bid to skate off with this year’s crown.

The 2009 winner showed he retained the verve and enthusiasm that made him a champion five years ago while performing to ‘Best Song Ever’, albeit with a few rough edges.

However, as the competition progresses the Liverpudlian could prove difficult to reel in if ironing out those kinks with the 1/3 on him to finish the competition as Top Male justified at present.
