Is there any stopping Hughie as Big Brother draws to a close?

There’s less than a week to go in this year’s Big Brother and although we’ve been gifted perhaps the most entertaining series to date, 8/11 favourite Hughie has seen little in the way of competition for the crown in recent weeks.

Perhaps that’s because of the controversial eviction of fan-favourite Lateysha, who was shown the boot by Jason as he claimed £20,000 of the prize money.

While many expected fans to turn on the 45-year old following his decision, he still remains third favourite to win the show next Tuesday night at 9/2.

However, he faces eviction from the house tonight and is up against Jackson, Laura and controversially Andy – who was put in the firing line by Hughie earlier in the week, replacing Jayne in the battle not to be shown the boot.

Its likely tonight will see the end of Laura’s time in the house, as she’s a massive 1/7 to be the eight person evicted this series, and given the popularity of the housemates she’s up against, she’ll be praying for a miracle come this evening.

Perhaps one of the biggest shocks in the market this year is the fall of ex-frontrunner Alex, who’s now 14/1 after being as short as 3s earlier on in the series.

But along with Hughie, Jayne, Sam and Evelyn, Alex can put his feet up tonight safe in the knowledge that he’s going nowhere.

That is, of course, providing BB doesn’t throw yet another spanner in the works.

Big Brother Outright Winner:

Andy        3/1

Jason       9/2

Alex         14/1

Jayne       14/1

Jackson    16/1
