Lleyton Hewitt may have slipped to 130 in the world rankings but there aren’t many bigger draws than the Australian at Wimbledon.

Hewitt takes on fifth seed Robin Soderling today and the All England Club have decided that the match is big enough to warrant opening the centre court play on day four at Wimbledon.

Hewitt absolutely adores Wimbledon and barring two first round defeats, Hewitt has always made at least the fourth round in 11 trips to London.

The Australian remains one of the more consistent performers on the grass surface and Soderling faces a real battle today, especially as Hewitt leads Soderling 3-1 in head-to-heads.

Soderling is the favourite at 3/10, but there is plenty of value to be found in backing Hewitt at 12/5, even if his best days are behind him.

Hewitt knows exactly what it takes to defeat Soderling and with the centre court crowd bound to be in his camp, Soderling will have to battle both the Australian and the atmosphere if he is to win.

It will be tight and Hewitt is 7/1 to win 3-2 with Soderling 11/2 to do the same, but the bet of the market looks to be the 5/6 for over 39.5 games in the match.

On three of the four meetings between the two the match has gone the distance and we could be in for a thriller today.

Jurgen Melzer vs Dimitry Tursonov

Melzer could be another seed to fall today when he takes on Russian Tursunov today.

Tursonov was victorious in Hertongenbosch last week in the final grass tournament before Wimbledon and has plenty of action on the grass courts this season.

Melzer made his first start on grass in the first round, dropping a set to Alejandro Falla and the betting can’t be split with both players available at 5/6.

The Austrian is ranked 42 places higher than Tursonov but the Russian has a 3-1 head-to-head advantage over Melzer and we fancy an upset today – take the 9/2 for Tursonov to win 3-2.
