This treble from the women’s draw pays out at just over 6/1.

Azarenka to beat Schiavone @ 1/8

While Francesca Schiavone won the women’s title at Roland Garros in 2010, she has twice faced the third seed Victoria Azarenka on clay. She suffered straight sets defeats on both occasions – the first of which came at this tournament in 2008 – in what were both emphatic wins for the Belorussian.

Currently ranked 47 places above her Italian counterpart, the 23-year-old Azarenka has twice reached the quarters in Paris, a feat one would expect her to match in this encounter. She has lost just twice on clay this year.

Schiavone is 12-6 on clay in 2013, however five of those victories came at the unheralded WTA event in Marrakesh, after which she went to suffer first round exits in Madrid and Rome.

Kirilenko to beat Mattek-Sands @ 4/7

Maria Kirilenko has won their sole career meeting to date, in Miami this year. Bethanie Mattek-Sands has never reached the fourth round at the French Open, and is yet to win on the WTA Tour.

Kirilenko is yet to drop a set here – Mattek-Sands has twice been taken the distance – and is a two time winner on clay on the WTA Tour. The twelfth-seeded Russian has reached the fourth round for the third time here, and is a good price to beat an opponent ranked 55 places below her.

Jankovic to beat Hampton by two sets to one @ 3/1

Jamie Hampton won their sole previous meeting in straight sets, at Indian Wells last year, and was impressive in beating seventh seed Petra Kvitova – a former Wimbledon champion and French Open semi-finalist – in straight sets the third round.

However, eighteenth seed Jelena Jankovic has shown a marked improvement this year, and will look to take inspiration from her record in Paris, where she has reached the semi-final on three occasions. A proficient clay-courter, she has secured six WTA Tour titles on the surface – the American has none. The result shouldn’t be in doubt, though on form Hampton looks worthy of a set.
