An exquisite Ian McShane free-kick helped 10-man Ross County past Hamilton Academical on Saturday afternoon and kept the Staggies in the top-four of the Ladbrokes Premiership.

Alex Schalk had given County the lead heading into the break before Accies’ Douglas Imrie levelled things up 24 minutes from time.

Before that the hosts had Jamie Reckford sent-off for denying Imrie a clear goalscoring opportunity, however they weren’t to be denied as McShane struck late on to ensure all three points went to the Highlanders.
