With cup action once again on the agenda north of the border we’re down to just two games in the Ladbrokes Premiership but that doesn’t mean there won’t be plenty of action.

Hamilton host Motherwell and Hearts welcome Partick Thistle to Tynecastle in a double dose of 3pm kick-offs and history suggests a relatively easy day at the office for the home sides.

The Accies have won lost just one of the last six meetings with Well and with 1-0, 2-0, 4-0 and 5-0 victories coming in that run there’s plenty to suggest a win to nil for the hosts could be the bet of the day at 10/3.

The hosts go into the game as 9/5 favourites, with the draw on at 23/10 and Motherwell priced up at 9/5.

And while previous meetings suggest that Mark McGhee’s side will leave New Douglas Park empty handed, the fact that Hamilton have drawn their last three at home and the most recent meeting ended 3-3 the 23/10 on another stalemate could attract plenty of attention.

Meanwhile, in Edinburgh the Jambos welcome the Jags to Tynecastle having won their last four home games and not lost in front of their fans for nine matches.

Thistle arrive in indifferent form, winning three their last five, but with just one victory from four games on the road the hosts look the side to back here.

Hearts’ last three home games have seen them run out 6-0, 1-0 and 2-0 winners and having won the last two meetings without conceding a goal the 2/1 on a Hearts win to nil is certainly worth consideration.

Hearts won the most recent 4-0 and the one before that 3-0 and those looking to maximise their returns could be swayed by odds of 33/1 and 14/1 respectively on either of those results to be repeated.
